Who ́ve been to Morocco? We ́ve been twice, once in Marrakech and other time to Fes. First time before having kids, and second time with both. It is such an amazing culture that you want to come back over and over again and discover more.

The Ritz-Carlton chain, in 2020, proposed to open a marvelous hotel in Rabat. One of the cities, that we still have to discover. It will be surrounded with landscaped gardens, 440 acres of oak forest and the renowned course at Royal Golf Dar es Salam set the backdrop for a collection of luxury amenities.

Restaurants and lounges will offer a great variety of local cuisine, and treatments including the signature hammam.

This hotel will be a luxury oasis in one of the most luxurious chains.

  1. 5. Xigera Safari Lodge

I was always impressed by Safari, and new hotels that are more than resort, and offer a full experience to the wild world.

The Xigera is a bold new safari lodge set in the heart of the Okavango Delta on the aptly named Paradise Island. They plan to open their doors to the wide public in June 2020. The lodge is surrounded by lush vegetation within the productive Moremi Game Reserve.

It will have only 12 suites, innovatively designed to protect the environment, using 100% solar power and focused on sustainability by eliminating single use plastics.

The rates are subjected to seasonality and the journey you plan to have, as Xingera Safari Lodge is not only about the suites, it is about the experience you will have while visiting the place.

So, my dear readers, are you impressed? I am impressed for sure. It is amazing how chains are keen to create such stunning hotels, only to be leaders in their field. And what I like most about new properties, is the thing that many of them look for sustainability and protection of the environment.
