Tickets don’t all go live at once. They’re released in four waves, each at 11:00 in the morning, and each wave covers a specific block of visit dates:

This is the part that connects to the rest of the Barcelona Christmas calendar and it’s easy to miss.
Between 27 December and 5 January, Casa SEAT collects children’s letters to the Three Kings — indoors, free, in the middle of Passeig de Gràcia.
If you’re in Barcelona in that quiet week between Christmas and Reis, this solves a real problem: the markets at the Cathedral and Sagrada Família have already closed on 23 December, and this is open, warm and central.

Why this is the rainy-day answer
Barcelona doesn’t get much winter rain, but when it does, the city has nowhere to put everyone — and every indoor attraction fills within an hour.
Magic Days is indoors, free, central and pre-booked. That combination is unusual, and it means you’re not queuing in the wet with a five-year-old hoping there’s space.
It also pairs well with the outdoor Christmas things. Passeig de Gràcia is where the best Christmas lights are — Casa Batlló and La Pedrera are a few minutes’ walk — so a booked slot at Casa SEAT and then the lights walk at dusk is a complete evening.
