Our Experience at Casa Batlló with MegaPass
On our recent visit, we had the Blue ticket, which allowed us to explore the breathtaking interiors of Casa Batlló at our own pace. Although we didn’t go up to the rooftop, the experience inside was nothing short of magical. Thanks to MegaPass, booking and accessing the attraction was seamless—no long lines, just pure discovery!
Casa Batlló ticket prices and which tier to buy
| Tier | From | What it adds |
|---|---|---|
| Blue | €29 | The standard visit. No rooftop. |
| Silver | €34 | Adds rooftop access |
| Gold | €39 | Adds augmented reality, the Gaudí Dôme and the private residence areas |
| Platinum | €49 | Maximum access and flexibility |
| Under 12 | Free | Standard daytime visits |
Youth, student and senior rates run roughly €23 to €46 depending on the tier.
Casa Batlló prices are dynamic. Every figure above is a “from” price — the same ticket costs more the closer you book to the date, and more again at the door. This is the single most useful thing to know about buying tickets here.
Catalonia residents: 2-for-1 on general admission.

Casa Batlló with kids
Once inside, Casa Batlló transports visitors into a world of flowing curves, stained glass windows, and intricate woodwork. Some of the most striking features include:
- The Noble Floor – The main living area with a magnificent stained-glass window, allowing natural light to flood in.
- The Central Patio – A mesmerizing blue-tiled light well, designed to distribute light evenly across all floors.
- The Loft – A serene white space, originally used for storage and laundry, with organic arches reminiscent of a ribcage.
One of Gaudí’s greatest innovations in Casa Batlló is its natural ventilation system. Instead of mechanical air conditioning, Gaudí designed adjustable wooden windows and strategically placed vents to allow fresh air to circulate throughout the house, making it an early example of sustainable architecture!

Casa Batlló: FAQ
Are children free at Casa Batlló?
Yes. Children under 12 enter free on standard daytime visits, so a family of two adults and two young children pays for two tickets rather than four.
How much are Casa Batlló tickets?
Four tiers, all dynamically priced: Blue from €29, Silver from €34, Gold from €39 and Platinum from €49. The same ticket costs more the closer you book to your visit date, so booking early is the main way to pay less. Catalonia residents get a 2-for-1 on general admission.
What is the difference between the Blue and Silver tickets?
Blue is the standard visit and does not include the rooftop. Silver adds rooftop access for about €5 more. Gold adds augmented reality, the Gaudí Dôme and the private residence areas.
How long does a visit to Casa Batlló take?
Most visitors spend between 1 and 1.5 hours.
Do you need to book Casa Batlló in advance?
Yes. It sells out in summer, and because pricing is dynamic, booking in advance is also how you pay the lowest price.
