We stayed at Hotel Garbí Park in Lloret de Mar for two nights, 6–8 June 2025: my husband, Damian and me. Marc was in Lloret too, playing in a basketball tournament, but he stayed in another hotel with his teammates, so this was a room for three. We paid for our stay, at a discounted rate through a contact from my years working in the hotel industry.
Here’s what we found: a big, practical four-star two minutes’ walk from the beach, with small rooms, a decent buffet and access to the pools of its sister hotels. One thing to know first, because it catches people out: there are four Garbí hotels in Lloret, and this is not the one called Gran Garbí.
Quick verdict
- Good for: families with school-age kids who want half board near the beach at a sensible price, and will spend the day out.
- The catch: standard rooms are 15 m² (up to 3 adults + 1 child), and the hotel has no cots or extra beds. That makes it tight for four, and not for babies.
- Pools: a heated indoor pool and an outdoor pool here. The splash pool with slides that Damian loved is at the sister hotel, the Gran Garbí Mar, and in summer Garbí Park guests get free entry to the Garbí Aquasplash water park.
- Beach: about 200 m.
Lloret de Mar: 3 hotels we’ve stayed in
Hotel Garbí Park – 4★, 200 m from the beach. 15 m² rooms, heated indoor pool, half board, free Aquasplash in summer.
Roger de Flor by Seleqtta – on the hill above the bay. Ask for the Presidential 360 Views room, which has an in-room jacuzzi.
Alba Seleqtta – the other Seleqtta hotel in Lloret.

Which Garbí hotel is this? Garbí Park vs Gran Garbí vs Gran Garbí Mar
The Garbí group has four hotels in Lloret de Mar, and the names are easy to mix up when you book:
- Hotel Garbí Park (this review): four-star, 248 rooms, about 200 m from the beach, with a heated indoor pool.
- Hotel Gran Garbí Mar: four-star, smaller (77 rooms), about 300 m from the beach, with sea views. This is where we went for the slides.
- Hotel Gran Garbí: a different four-star, a few metres from Gran Garbí Mar.
- Hotel Villa Garbí: the three-star.
Check the full name on your booking confirmation. “Garbí Park” and “Gran Garbí” are not the same hotel.
The room: 15 m² for three
Our room had three beds, a wardrobe, a desk and a balcony. The hotel lists its standard rooms at 15 m², which is about right for what we had: simple and functional, with no wasted space and not much spare space either. The bathroom was clean and had everything we needed. For three of us who were out all day, it worked. With a fourth bed and luggage on the floor, it would feel small.
Two things families should know before booking: the hotel says it has no cots and no extra beds, and children aged 13 and over pay the adult rate. If you have a baby, or two teenagers, look at our Lloret family hotels comparison for a bigger room.

Pools, slides and Aquasplash
Garbí Park has an outdoor pool and a heated indoor pool, which is useful in early June, when the sea is still fresh. The highlight for Damian, though, was the splash pool with slides at the Gran Garbí Mar. We could use the facilities of the group’s nearby sister hotels as well as our own, and he’d happily have spent the whole weekend there.
In summer, Garbí Park guests also get free access to the Garbí Aquasplash water park. Check the dates it applies to when you book, because it’s a summer-only perk.

Half board: what the buffet was like
We stayed on half board, which with a basketball weekend to fit around was the right call. Breakfast covered everything: fresh fruit, pastries, cereals, cold cuts, eggs and hot dishes like bacon and sausages. Dinner was a rotating buffet of salads, pasta, meat, fish and desserts. It’s not a gourmet experience, but there was always something for a hungry 12-year-old. There’s also a bar with a terrace.

Entertainment and kids
There’s a games room, plus day activities and evening entertainment. Garbí Park doesn’t advertise a dedicated kids’ club, so plan on the pools and the beach to keep children busy, not on drop-off activities.
Location: 200 m from the beach
Garbí Park is on Carrer Santa Marta, about 200 metres from the beach, and the centre of Lloret is an easy walk. That’s the hotel’s biggest strength: you can walk everywhere, and with outdoor parking available, you can leave the car for the whole stay.
Good to know before you book
- Check-in from 13:00. Check-out by 10:00, which is early, so plan your last morning.
- Board: we had half board, with breakfast and dinner as buffets.
- Parking: outdoor parking is available.
- Pets: not allowed.
- Cots and extra beds: not available.
- Children 13+ pay the adult rate.
Is Hotel Garbí Park worth it?
Yes, for a short family stay with school-age kids, when you want the beach and the town on foot, half board sorted, and pools for the downtime. Book elsewhere if you need space (a family of four with luggage), have a baby who needs a cot, or want a kids’ club at your own hotel. Coming from fourteen years in hotel distribution, I’d also say this: the Garbí name covers four different hotels, so the cheapest “Garbí” on a booking site might not be this one. Read the full name before you pay.

Hotel Garbí Park: FAQ
Where is Hotel Garbí Park?
Hotel Garbí Park is at Carrer Santa Marta 3 in Lloret de Mar on the Costa Brava, about 200 metres from the beach.
Is Hotel Garbí Park the same as Gran Garbí?
No. The Garbí group has four hotels in Lloret de Mar: Hotel Garbí Park, Hotel Gran Garbí and Hotel Gran Garbí Mar are four-star, and Hotel Villa Garbí is three-star. Garbí Park is the large one, with 248 rooms and a heated indoor pool.
How big are the rooms at Hotel Garbí Park?
Standard rooms are 15 m² and sleep up to 3 adults and 1 child. Ours had three beds, a wardrobe, a desk and a balcony. The hotel has no cots or extra beds.
Is Hotel Garbí Park good for families?
For families with school-age kids, yes. It has a heated indoor pool, an outdoor pool, a games room and free Garbí Aquasplash entry in summer, and our son loved the splash pool with slides at the sister hotel, Gran Garbí Mar. For babies or a family of four needing space, the 15 m² rooms and the lack of cots make it a weaker choice.
What is the half board like at Hotel Garbí Park?
Both meals are buffets. Breakfast had fruit, pastries, cereals, cold cuts, eggs and hot dishes, and dinner rotated salads, pasta, meat, fish and desserts.
Can Garbí Park guests use the other Garbí hotels’ pools?
During our stay we could use the facilities of the group’s nearby sister hotels, which is how we used the splash pool and slides at Gran Garbí Mar.
