Top 3 places to watch sunset in Menorca.

One of the activities we enjoy doing on islands is watching the sunset over the sea. During our stay in Menorca, we enjoyed all the evenings the sunset. The skies and sun had such a beautiful color, that amazed each of us. Watching the sunset it’s such a relaxing activity and kids really love this moment. It’s a free activity, it doesn’t last much, so you can do anything you had planned to do before and after the sunset.

In one of the evenings, we were late for watching sunset, and Damian was continuously asking us, if we will watch sunset. This means that even if they didn’t tell us, they really love these moments.

Although you can see beautiful sunsets from many places, even home you can have a spectacular sunset or sunrise. The idea is just to get out and enjoy it.

Today I am sharing with you 3 locations in Menorca that we loved the most watching sunsets.

1. LOS DELFINES

It is on our top list, as this place amazed us the most. It is situated on the western point of Menorca lies, and the small town is Los Delfines (literally The Dolphins).

If you are still looking for accommodations in Menorca, I would really advise you to take one here. And of course, in the first row with sea view. You will be amazed of the views and how tranquil is this place.

If you are looking for more comfort, and you want to watch the sunset with a beer or cocktail, then there is a bar right on the top. And if you are looking for the views and a great time, walk a few steps and will have exactly same view. Our advise it to wear comfortable shoes as the ground is very sharp and rugged.

2. TORRE DES CASTELLAR

Watching the sunset from the cliffs of Torre des Castellar lighthouse is spectacular. Color combinations above the sea where you can often spot some sailboats or little motorboats.

The best part about watching the sunset at Torre des Castellar was the absolute peace and quiet, and the fact there is nothing obstructing your view or around you. Here as well, we advise to get some comfy shoes, as there are lots of rocks to stand on.

Park your car and walk the remaining 500 metres or so.

3. ES GRAU

One of the greatest attractions of Menorca wee the spectacular sunsets. Rich colors of sun and skies, make a spectacular show by the end of the day.

The simplicity of something that happens everyday transforms into a movie scene in the surroundings of the coast of Menorca. Es Grau is actually a beach place, even though, we went to catch up the last sun in one of the days.

Let you be seduced by the serenity of the sunsets in Menorca. The sea, and the island’s landscape perfectly complement the colours of the sky during sunset. Where was the most unforgettable sunset that you have seen?
