Spartan Race in Mallorca. Super Sprint experience.

As mentioned on our previous post, our main reason to go to Mallorca, was daddy´s participation at Spartan Race in Palma de Mallorca.

It was his second time to participate in such a competition. First time, it was close to Barcelona. And now, repeating it in Mallorca, but participating in another category. In Barcelona, was Sprint Level, and now Super Level.

Spartan Race is a series of obstacle races of varying distance and difficulty ranging from 3 miles to marathon distances. Initially those were held only in US, but then spreaded within countries as Canada, South Korea, Australia and several European countries. The series include the Spartan Sprint, the Spartan Super, the Spartan Beast, and the Spartan Ultra. Spartan Race also has a military series, hosted on military bases.Those are also winter and team events.

As mentioned, daddy participated in Sprint, Super, only 2 still left. Daddy, loves extreme sport, and Spartan Race is such kind of sport, where all the muscles work.

In such kind of competitions is needed endurance, strength, stamina, speed, mobility and mental strength to push through to the finish line. In order to start embodying these characteristics of a Spartan, you have to get a really good training.

For people, who go to support the future Spartans, you have to be prepared, that all these competitions are made in a special designed place, far away of any city. If it is warm, then you will get sunburned, and if it will be windy, be prepared to have cold. Be prepared to be a little bit of Spartan as well, in that day :). At least, I like to think so.

I was lucky enough that in both competitions that daddy took, he come fast, and had great results. And I didn’t have to wait for him too much.

The day ended great, and we went happy home. Of course, daddy is super excited and proud of the work he did.
